Having trouble activating your UXP panel in Photoshop?
There are only 3 reasons why your UXP panel activation might fail and trigger the following error notifications in Photoshop:
- No active license...
-
License canβt be verified...
-
Could not activate the panel...
REASON #1: Incorrect email address
Incorrect email address, a typo or empty spaces in the email you entered.
Make sure you enter the same email address that you use to log into your Member Account, as described in Step 5: Activate Your License in Photoshop.
REASON #2: Your Subscription expired and needs to be renewed
Our UXP panels are subscription-based. Your first-year Subscription was included in your original purchase or your UXP upgrade fee. After the first year, you need to renew it to activate the panel in Photoshop.
π Renew your license: If this is your first renewal, please visit the Reinstate Your UXP Panel page. Be sure to reset your panel activations after your Subscription is renewed.
π If you have renewed before: Check out the Managing Your RA Lab Subscriptions page for a refresher.
REASON #3: Used up all your License Activations
You can only activate your UXP panel on 2 computers simultaneously (or twice on the same computer) according to our Software Product License.
When you've used up both activations, you simply need to reset your activations via your Member Account. This is usually necessary after a Subscription lapse and renewal or after a Photoshop update.
When that happens, the License Activation dialog will pop up again in Photoshop and reject your email address - you will just need to reset one License Activation via your account on our website:- On your Member Account page, press the long red button RESET PANEL ACTIVATION IN PHOTOSHOP.
- On the next page, press the RESET buttons across the panel you need to re-activate the license for.
π΄ Additionally, when the panel has been already activated but you don't see it in Photoshop, you do not need to install and activate it again, simply toggle it on/off via the Plugins menu in Photoshop.
If you need to reset both activations on the same day, please contact our Support Team for assistance and tell them you need to reset both activations associated with your account.
