Legacy Panels — End of Life
Adobe has officially discontinued the CEP (legacy Extensions) framework that older Photoshop extensions were built on. As of Photoshop 2025 and the most recent security updates, legacy extensions can no longer be installed or used — regardless of operating system or hardware.
This change was made by Adobe at the platform level. It is entirely beyond our control and makes it technically impossible for us to maintain, reinstall, update, or provide technical support for legacy (non-UXP) panels. All legacy RA Panels are therefore considered End of Life (EOL).
For a full explanation of Adobe's decision and how it affects legacy panels, see: Important Update: Legacy RA Panels and the New UXP Upgrade.
Upgrade to UXP Panels
RA Panels are now available exclusively as UXP plugins — the only extensibility framework supported in current versions of Photoshop. The RA Panels require Photoshop® 2022, v23.3 or later. AI-powered features in the Beauty Retouch Panel require Photoshop® 2024, v25.3 or later. Both Windows and Mac OS are supported under a single license, including M-chip Apple computers.
You can upgrade via your Member Account → Reinstate Legacy or Upgrade to UXP. We offer upgrade discounts to existing users.
